About the founder
Kashmira Chawla, MD, MSc, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and Assistant Professor at the Mayo Clinic, with expertise in perioperative care and global public health. She completed her training at Weill Cornell Medical Center, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She has engaged in public health programming and research in Malawi, Eswatini, Zambia, Honduras, and India. Her work in global healthcare innovation and equity has been published in NEJM, The Hill, and Health Affairs.
